The JET is serrated on the lower edge, mainly to reduce the friction surface on the playing surface, which results in a sharper and faster shot. This serration also helps control the ball, so the ball will never spin when you shoot! The ribbing on the JET is not only reinforced around the perimeter, but also on the heel, which means that even under heavy load, the blade will not bend and will still hold its shape.
