This floorball stick can withstand aggressive play, making it an ideal option for hobby sports . Although these sticks are primarily intended for hobby players, thanks to their properties they will find many fans among professional players as well. In this series you will find sticks made of 2 materials:
- Fiberglass: A solid material that makes the floorball stick stronger and better transfers power from the shaft to the blade and thus to the floorball ball.
- Composite : Composite is a mixture of carbon and fiberglass. Both carbon and fiberglass have positive and negative properties. To get the best (lightness of carbon and strength of composite), these 2 materials are combined. You can find combinations in different ratios. The higher the ratio of carbon to composite, the better the floorball has properties. On the other hand , the more fiberglass, the stronger the floorball and the better it transfers force.
Blade Block
The Block blade is the result of an effort to reduce weight without sacrificing any of the blade's functions or strength. The Block is a shooting blade that has a very large playing surface. It stands out primarily for its lightness (weighs 70g ) and is built primarily for a pull shot .
The Oxdog Block is a torsionally stiff blade from heel to tip . It is quite unusual for a blade to have the same stiffness along its entire length. This gives the Block a hard hit like no other blade. This blade is made for the hardest shots!
The Oxdog Block floorball blade is a pre-curved blade with a slightly pre-curved tip inwards and downwards. The Block is an ideal shooting blade with which your shots will be really hard! The backhand side of the blade is relatively straight. It only curves in the last third of it and then the tip curves inwards and downwards. This is great because you don't mind the curve of the blade when shooting with a backend. You can use quite a lot of the blade surface. The Block is therefore ideal for playing with a backhand.
The blade has a thicker lower frame for easy ball pick-up, which will improve your pull shot in particular. The block is slightly (3°) undercut. The blade design makes it ideal for excellent pull shots, while the stiffness of the blade gives you a great impact shot. The block is excellent for pull shots and also for ball handling. The ball on the blade holds and moves in a pocket created by the concavity and pre-curve. The blade material also improves ball handling, making it smooth and the ball does not bounce, while maintaining excellent shooting properties.
