OxDog Avox
Oxdog Avox is a floorball blade developed for shooting! The Avox blade is one of the best-selling blades of the OxDog brand and we recommend it to all shooters, especially those who like to shoot with a pull.
The Avox blade construction is different from other OxDog blades, mainly due to the added oblique ribs. The blade has horizontal, horizontal and oblique ribs. The heel is reinforced with both ribs and filled holes. This makes the heel very stable. This construction makes the Avox a highly torsionally stiff blade that holds its shape and transfers your energy into the shot very well.
Avox is the blade with the largest concave of all OxDog blades. Its concavity is 9.5mm. Such a deepening ensures excellent ball control and accurate shot with a pull. The cavity of the blade starts at the heel and leads diagonally to the tip of the blade. The tip of the blade is slightly bent inward, but not downward. The tip shaped in this way improves ball control.
The blade is significantly pre-curved with a slight rounding on the backhand side. This pre-curve starts in the last third of the blade and smoothly transitions to the tip, which is pulled up and inwards. The tip of the blade does not form a classic hook, but rather continues with a concavity. This results in excellent ball control.
