The popular "enRoutes" in a new coat! That's the definition of the new Salming Recoil Lyte model in a nutshell. This new model continues to be based primarily on a precisely crafted midsole and outsole concept, which, despite all its comfort, can also offer an incredibly agile rebound and a natural feel with every step. Thanks to the significantly reactive cushioning provided by our premium Recoil foam, and the lightweight, voluminous road shoe, you don't have to be afraid to pull out the Recoil Lyte model even for faster tempo training or racing.
The sole of the new model is a combination of rubber parts, a torsion unit under the arch and exposed parts of the cushioning foam. The Recoil Lyte is able to offer great flexibility, feel against the surface while keeping your feet in the optimal direction even when they start to get tired.
The "new coat" mentioned is the completely redesigned upper of the Recoil Lyte model. It is now two-layered and consists of a fine and ideally flexible polyester knit, which is covered with a 3D-printed polyurethane layer to increase stability.
On roads and paved paths
The Salming Recoil Lyte model is primarily designed for running on roads or asphalt surfaces, but you won't feel bad in them on natural paved paths either.
For beginners and advanced users
Like the previous generations, the Salming Recoil Lyte is such a universal model that it will be appreciated by both beginner and advanced runners. Thanks to its neutral tread and medium-hard cushioning, it is also suitable for runners with a common form of pronation and supination. The higher weight of the runner may not be an obstacle, the cushioning is sufficient and durable even in this case.
Good for long workouts and brisk runs
The Salming Recoil Lyte model is designed primarily for long-distance running on hard surfaces. Due to their low weight and overall agile feel, many runners also use them for faster, more tempo runs, or as racing shoes for distances of 10 km and above.
Shoe construction and technologies used
Shoe upper
Two layers for maximum comfort and stability
The Salming Recoil Lyte's two-layer upper is made of an ideally flexible polyester knit, which is covered with a 3D-printed polyurethane layer for increased stability. Thanks to this, the model offers low weight for a bulky shoe and also excels in excellent breathability.
Holds the foot in place
Heel cup - the heel cup in our shoes is designed so that it does not increase the weight of the shoes and does not interfere with the overall feeling of comfort in the shoe, but at the same time fulfills its function, which is to stabilize and fix the foot in the shoe.
Natural and efficient forefoot movement
The upper of the shoes is expanded in the toe area with TOE BOX technology to provide enough space for the movement of the forefoot, thus supporting their more natural and efficient movement from a biomechanical perspective.
Midsole - shoe cushioning
Up to 20% more energy in each bounce
The premium Recoil™ material used in the midsole helps to cushion hard impacts of the foot. Compared to classic EVA foam, it absorbs negative forces better when stepping on the ground, and on the contrary, it returns up to 20% more energy during the rebound. The foam is very stable. It can easily withstand temperature differences while maintaining the same properties. Its durability is also a great advantage. The running properties of the shoe do not change despite the large number of kilometers covered.
Even more comfort
SoftFOAM is a special insert in the heel area, which is made of a material capable of even better reducing the negative effects of impacts in this part of the shoe. The specially developed mixture of materials has a 70% better ability to absorb these unwanted forces compared to regular EVA foam. The interaction of SoftFOAM and Recoil™ materials ensures a comfortable and at the same time efficient run.
Sole - the sole of the shoe
Supports proper biomechanics of movement
Torsion Efficiency Unit™ is a technology that sensitively supports the overall stability of the shoe. This TPU plastic unit is placed in the midsole so that it is not restrictive, but on the contrary, it maximally supports efficiency and correct running biomechanics.
Comfort on impact, efficiency on rebound
The TGS 62/75° technology divides the sole of the shoe into 2 parts. The first part – from the heel to the ball of the foot – makes up approximately 62% of the sole area, and is designed with maximum stability and impact absorption in mind. It is separated from the second part – the front part of the sole – by the so-called ballet line, which is guided by the sole at an angle of 75°. This division ensures that the shoe bends in exactly the right place to stimulate the natural lateral and front-to-back movements of the feet. The front part of the shoe is then designed for maximum rebound efficiency when running.
Durability and very good grip in any conditions
The Durable Lightweight Rubber material, from which the contact surfaces of the sole are made, is a durable and at the same time very lightweight rubber compound with very good grip even in wet conditions.
Salming Recoil Lyte women's road volume shoes are new for the 2022 season. The Lyte model is a direct successor to the Salming enRoute model. Even with the latest generation of "enRoutes", you can be sure that you are wearing an ultra-comfortable volume shoe that can put any speed model in your pocket.
