The years-proven Viper model of indoor shoes with a new upper – these are the Salming Viper 5 Shoe Women Pink/Black. The sole has remained the same, there is nothing to change about it. The main difference is the use of the so-called ViperSKIN on the upper of the shoe. This is a second skin that is very flexible and resistant to abrasion.
The Salming Viper 5 indoor shoes stand out primarily for their low profile, quick response and low weight.
Technologies used
ViperSKIN™
The lightweight and highly durable three-layer construction used on the upper of the shoe provides support in all directions even during sudden changes of direction. The material inside is soft and very comfortable. There are vents at the toe of the shoe for good ventilation.
HeelCup™
The heel cup stabilizes and locks the foot in the shoe, which is key to feeling secure and comfortable. We have developed a new, anatomically shaped cup that is slightly longer than the competition.
RollBar™
The rounded inner edge of the sole allows for a higher inward tilt of the foot and reduces pressure on the big toe edge. This allows the foot to bounce off more extreme positions and at the same time makes it easier to move the foot into the position that is common in low stances when playing floorball or squash.
XR110™
The XR110 material used on the sole is a specially designed blend of rubber and other additives that provide anti-slip and slightly sticky properties.
RunLite2™
This is a material used as a sole filler. It makes the sole lightweight and has great responsiveness.
TGS 62/75™
Torsion Guide System. The distance from the heel to the ball of the foot (62% of the sole) was designed with maximum stability and impact absorption in mind. This area is finished with a so-called ballet line, which ends this stabilizing part at an angle of 75%. Behind this ballet line, the shoes are equipped with material that supports and stimulates the rebound when running. TGS 62/75 technology works with all the phases that the foot goes through when running. When landing, the right part of the shoe absorbs the impact and helps stabilize, then the sole bends in exactly the right place and the material in the front part stimulates the rebound. All this with a single impact of the foot on the ground.
LMS - Lateral Movement Stabilizer
A special lightweight double-curved unit integrated into the center of the sole. Its task is to support the foot during quick and unexpected lateral movements of the foot.
LMS+
Stopping the foot from moving sideways too quickly can result in an ankle sprain. The LMS+ is designed with an 8% incline to minimize the risk of this injury.
