The elastic and flexible material of the vest makes it easier to put on and increases comfort. It also serves as a compression shirt that perfectly follows the goalkeeper's body.
It helps keep the body warm to prevent muscle strain injuries, which can happen in matches where the goalkeeper is stationary for a long time and has to move quickly.
